Hassle Free Returns Policy


Wrong size or not quite what you wanted? No problem we offer 30 day returns on all standard product lines (see exceptions below). Our Discounted Returns Postage Pack (optional) is just $20 and includes a prepaid shipping label to print and attach to the parcel you are returning PLUS free postage on the item you are exchanging it for (Australia only). Of course if you'd prefer a refund we are happy to help you there too :) Just be sure to keep all the product packaging and swing tags intact and ensure items remain clean, hair free and in original condition.
This returns policy applies to change of mind returns and is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. We recommend you send the products with a guaranteed service, as we can not be responsible for any items that are lost.
Please note this return policy does not apply to the following goods:
- Special orders of non stock products
- Made to measure / made to order items
- Personalised / custom made items
- Consumables such as shampoos, leather creams, wound care, supplements, wormers etc
- Surprise items such as Breyer random pick / surprise horse
- Other products as specified in the product description or returns tab on the product page.
Refunds and product exchanges are generally processed within two business days of receiving your return, however bank processing times vary and refunds may take up to a week to show in your account. You will receive email notification when your return has been processed / exchanged items shipped.
Return Conditions
For change of mind returns, refunds or exchanges must be requested within 30 days of receiving your parcel, and the returned item must also be received by Ashbree Saddlery within this 30 day period for processing.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs; therefore, initial shipping costs will not be refunded (unless the return is a result of our error).
Items must be in resalable condition at the full RRP including product packaging (to the discretion of the Ashbree Saddlery Team). If the item is not resalable at the full RRP a refund will not be given.
If item does not meet resalable conditions then it will be returned to the customer, at the expense of the customer.
All goods must be unused and in original condition with all labels and swing tags attached and in original packaging to be considered resalable.
Returned items that are dirty or have horse hair on them will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer, at the expense of the customer.
How to return goods
If you need to return an item, you can send us an email or simply login to your account and submit a return request in the returns centre. If you can not remember your password click the Forgot password link under the login box and we will send you a new password by email.

If you are organising your own postage, you can include a reply paid bag for exchanges or payment instructions for the extra postage (not required if you have purchased the returns pack).
Please remember to include a note in the parcel with your name, order number and contact details. We have no way of linking the parcel to you if you do not include this information in the parcel. We also recommend including instructions on what you would like us to do i.e. refund, store credit or exchange even if you have told us already as it does speed up processing times.
International Returns
Our 30 day return policy also applies to all international orders but unfortunately the two way returns postage pack is only valid for Australian Orders.
To prevent additional customs charges on international returns, please mark on the outside of the packaging and send to:
