I love it, my pony was suffering girth galls from previous girth even though I was using a wool liner because the girth itself was too hard on the edges. This girth is lovely and soft, moves with the horse and is of great quality. Highly recommend.

This is a great girth. If I was a horse I wouldnt want any other. So soft on their tummies!!I Easy to clean and dries quickly. It also has two choices of slots to put the girth straps into which is clever. Excellent product.

Comfortable for the horse and easy to do up

I bought this girth on the recommendations/reviews of other purchasers and have not been disappointed. My horse has previously shown a negative reaction to being girthed/saddled (such that ulcer treatment was recommended), but now there is no negative reaction and he is quite unconcerned about the girth being tightened. My previous girth was constructed from a much more inflexible and "hard' material - this girth is soft and comfortable. My only wish is that there were girth point holders beyond the buckles (closer to the saddle) to keep the top of the girth more firmly aligned and underneath the buckles. But in general I am very happy with this girth.

Well made product with a good fit and plenty of give with the elastic stretch which would give great comfort to very round horses. Grips well on my horse and prevents saddle from slipping side to side - which other sheepskin girths seem to do on this horse.

I don't normally like girths with elastic but this one is not too stretchy and the horses seem to find it very comfortable. It washes up well so is great for use both at home and at competitions.

Good girth for the price. Comfortable and my fussy mare seems to like it. I accidentally bought the version without keepers and Ashbree swiftly exchanged it for me. Very good customer service!

These girths fit well and are extremely comfortable for the horse. They look great and best of all you can wash them in the machine! The last and last and keep coming up looking like new. As always the service from Ashbree was brilliant.

Great girth, moves/slips a tiny bit at the top but the whole girth doesn’t move so it doesn’t worry the fit on the horse. Great value for money.

My mare was very sensitive to the girth where it meets the saddle and it would often pinch her there. This girth has fixed all that and she is moving much better as she feels comfortable. Easy to keep clean as you just throw it in the washing machine.

Excellent value for money, great quality. Very comfortable for the horse, very strong on my little fatty that blows his tummy out. This is my 2nd and only bought as new saddle has longer points so I needed a shorter girth. I highly recommend.

My horse has very sensitive skin. The first time I used this girth he was noticeably more relaxed. I do find the buckles a bit loose, which makes it hard to tighten without dismounting, but that’s my only minor criticism of it.

bought this girth for comp days, as previously purchased the straight version. Had looked at a different brand , almost double the price and more difficult to care for. I have always used the straight Equinenz wool girths and absolutely loved them but my new horse has quite a forward girth groove so the saddle fitter suggested I try a shaped girth. I originally bought the non wool one she recommended but my horse hated it, so I was very excited to find Equinenz now make a shaped wool girth :) My horse loves it!! He would pin his ears back and attempt to bite me when I was doing up the non wool girth, now he just stands calmly as I saddle up. Shipping was very fast as usual with Ashbree.

faulty girth return

I had ordered two different girths. When I tried to attach the Equinenz Anatomical girth to my saddle I realised that one of the buckles was sewn on backwards. When I called Ashbree they were extremely helpful and a new girth was sent out immediately. A return post bag was supposed to be enclosed to return the faulty product but was not. I returned the girth and paid the postage as the person at Ashbree was so helpful. many thanks Karen Riddell
