More infoThese side reins are made from webbing with buckle adjustment and snaps at each end for attachment to the bridle and roller. Also features elasticated panels to allow a larger amount of "give" than other models in our range.
Side reins run from the bit or lunge cavesson to the roller. They are designed to encourage flexion and softness in the horse's mouth. Recommended for use by experienced handlers only - when used improperly they can unduely restrict the horse's movement.

Quality but better for horses
By: Ruby on 15 August 2018Great pair of side reins that are very forgiving with the elastic and the slip on clips (which I was at first concerned about) are not a problem and easy to clip onto d=rings or rollers. But the adjusting system is little tricky and for some reason I couldn't make both reins even (might just be me :)) and as there is only one size they're a bit long on ponies but great horses!!! Still do their job and great price, still prefer these over the leather ones! ;)

Wish they had rokko fittings
By: Katherine Janus on 28 May 2018These side reins are great but I wish that they had rokko fittings at both ends so that I could slip it onto the girth strap rather than the lunge roller. I will take off the clip at one end and replace it with a rokko fitting so I can do that. Other than that, quality of product good.
