The Neue Schule Pony Tranz Angled Lozenge Loose Ring Bit is a gentle training tool with a bit of extra help. When a contact is taken, the Tranz Angled Lozenge rolls down onto the centre of the tongue, the ‘sweet spot’, enhancing feel and responsiveness thus a higher level of communication through the rein is achieved. The arms are slightly curved and of an oval profile. This oval design takes up less room between the tongue and upper palate, whilst offering a similar weight bearing surface from the pony’s perspective as thicker, circular mouthpieces.

The Neue Schule Salox is Neue Schule's unique composition - this is a warmer, softer metal with a very high copper content and Neue Schule additive to maximise on oxidation. This promotes salivation, mouthing, acceptance and harmony. Many horses that have previously only been bittable in rubber or nylon have proven extremely comfortable in the Neue Schule Salox.

All bits in the Neue Schule Collection have high density stainless steel rings for appearance and durability.

I bought this for a 14.2 RP who seemed to be struggling with too much steel in his mouth ie mouth opening dropping the big. I had shied away from the 10mm diameter bit previously but decided to give it a go. It took a few rides for him to get used to it but I have never had him so light on my hands. He is frothing up beautifully. The lightness of this bit is perfect for a small mouthed pony. Highly recommended.
