More infoNB: These are factory 2nds. The wool panel was accidentally made to an old design, as such the wool strips are not as wide at the back as they are in the other Equinenz wool saddle pads. It will still fit most saddles, we have included the measurements below so if you have an extra wide saddle panel you can compare to check it fits.
Width of wool panel at narrowest point is 13.8cm, width of wool across full back is 31cm. Please refer to photos to see the points that were measured at the very back of the pad.

- The wool strips on the underside of the saddle cloth are made from 100% New Zealand wool. This premium wool fabric is of a special micron that helps to absorb shock and pressure whilst allowing circulation offering increased comfort and protection for the horses back.

- No wool in the gullet area to keep the channel free and pressure off the horses spine.

Although his current saddle is well fitted I hoped it would provide cushioning for him. It has done exactly that & I am delighted with it. I have just washed it and it has come up well. Good support without the bulk. Just ordered a GP version.

Great Equinenz saddle pad
By: Juanita on 4 May 2018I used the pad a couple of times now & obviously it got dirty, I washed it with my white cotton saddle pad the Equinenz saddle pad washed better & cleaner then my white one. The fact that the lining is quite thick, I don’t have to use a gel pad under the saddle. One less thing to take. I love the pad which also matches with Equinenz boots. The price is reasonable too, hence I bought 2

By: Sarah Mackie on 3 April 2018These are beautiful saddle pads, and have the added bonus of being machine washable so you can always have a lovely clean pad for your horse's back. I have several of these pads now, they are all I use. Very good shaped cut and quality, and the Velcro girth/saddle keepers are great. Excellent for sensitive/thin skinned horses.
