5'9 hybrid adaptive strap rug
By: Robin Kosick on 5 October 2024So far so good. The rug fit my stock horse gelding well, he has a well rounded rump to keep the rug in place, it doesn't slip on him but other more flat backed horses might have an issue with it slipping sideways

6'6 hybrid adaptive strap rug
By: Robin Kosick on 5 October 2024My mare only had this rug on 2 days then on the 3rd day I came home to find it in shreds with only the neck section still on her and the remaining shreds dragging behind. I'm not sure what happened but on tracing her movements from the beginning of the shreds, it appears one of the elastic leg straps has broken or the rug got do sideways the elastic straps allowed the rug to shift even more . I'm wondering if anyone else has questioned the addition of the elastic part of the strap vs one solid webbing strap?? The rug fitted well as in the shape but straps and buckles and hooks etc were flimsy.
