These are the best girths!! I just spend $400 on an expensive shaped girth recommended by my saddle fitter but my horse hated it. He started pinning back his ears and biting at the girth area every time I did up the girth. As soon I swapped back to his Equinenz wool girth he stopped biting and looks so much happier.

I ride a 14.1 pony and have tried anatomical girth’s. They seem to be too bulky. This girth is straight cut but soft with wool lining and elastic on both sides. My pony seems to move more freely in it.

I’ve been using EQUINENZ woollen girths for many years on my endurance horses. A couple of my mares were very sensitive and prone to rubbing around the girth area and these girths were the only ones that didn’t. They wear extremely well, wash easily and are exceptionally comfortable. I now have 7 of them. They have done State Championships and Tom Quilty 160 km rides, the Shahzada 400 km ride and many 80km rides plus training. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Excellent product. Horse used to be very touchy and jumpy when tightening girth - not anymore with this wool lined girth. Transformed the horse's behaviour. Highly recommended as is the service from Ashbree Saddlery. Originally I ordered the wrong size but was able to exchange the product with a very easy process.

My mare loves this girth! I was having trouble with other girths rubbing and making her sore but this one is softer and also the elastic gives them room to breathe. Love the product. Only trouble was it came on sale 2 days after I paid full price..... I will go back and get a jumping one as well though.

We ordered 2 of these girths after being recommended to do so by our saddle fitter. The ponies seem to be very comfortable whilst using them and they are well made. If I had one suggestion it would be for an additional keeper to tuck in billet straps that are a little two long. I will be attaching a piece of wide elastic.

I am yet to try this product, so cannot fully review it. The product description advised to choose a smaller size than you would normally order because the girth has some elasticity. Despite doing this, the girth I ordered is still too large and I will have to return it and order a smaller size.

Love this girth and have not seen it in any stores before. I would recommend buying it 5cm shorter than the girth you currently use to take into consideration the stretch and the extra wool on top of the buckles.
